A Note about the N4 ESA in Padauk Stain. Black Ash or Swamp Ash is noted for being a very light weight wood. The N4 pictured here weighs more than an Alder N4 and close to a Padauk N4.

While Grover Jackson was in control of Washburn's USA Custom Shop the N4 design changed slightly. The control cavities became smaller and took on a new shape and the neck "roll" became a "shelf".
